I am running a dredging job from a fixed wharf with a long stick excavator and need the Trimble (if not Leica or Topcon) machine-control package configured so the operator can dig on a 700 sq meter area to the exact project specs without constant manual checks. You will work from an existing 3D model of the site that I host online (I will supply login details once we start). The model shows current seabed levels, the wharf structure and all reference points you will need. The brief is straightforward: • Build the control files that drive excavation depth and area boundaries. • Load those files into a Trimble workflow (Trimble Business Center / Siteworks / Earthworks—whichever path you prefer) so they import cleanly to the excavator’s head unit. • Provide clear instructions so I can verify the design in the cab, view cut/fill, and confirm that depth warnings and boundary alarms trigger where they should. I’m not worried about slope angles on this project, only the absolute depth limits and horizontal extents. If you need additional coordinate data or benchmarks, I can survey and upload them quickly. Deliverables • Trimble-ready design files and any supporting TBC project files • A brief setup guide (PDF or Word) describing import steps, recommended settings, and a one-page validation checklist Once the files load and field verification shows depth and boundary control working as intended, I’ll mark the job complete.
