I’m building a new home in Australia and want every space to feel like a relaxed fusion of Bali resort living and laid-back Australian coastal charm. To make that vision real, I’m looking for an interior designer who is physically based in Bali and already knows how to balance both aesthetics with confidence. Scope of the project • Spaces covered: living room, all bedrooms and the kitchen—essentially the whole house. • Style direction: an even mix of Bali and Australian coastal influences, interpreted through a modern-meets-rustic lens. Think light timbers, rattan, textured whites and hand-crafted accents without losing contemporary lines. • Furniture: I’ll need mood boards, rough sketches or quick digital mock-ups that let me visualise ideas early. Once a concept is signed off, you’ll shortlist suitable pieces, confirm availability and help source them through your Bali supplier network (shipping to Australia arranged on my side). How we’ll work 1. Kick-off call to swap floor plans, measurements and a few inspirational references. 2. Iterative concept development—rapid sketches or digital drafts until the layout, palette and hero pieces feel right. 3. Detailed specification pack listing furniture, finishes and décor, complete with links, prices and lead times. 4. Ongoing consultation through to final purchasing so I’m never guessing on quality or fit. I value clear communication, quick visual turnarounds and genuine local knowledge of Bali craftsmanship. If you’ve previously blended these two styles or managed remote sourcing for an overseas build, I’d love to see examples and hear how you’d guide this project from blank canvas to fully furnished haven.
