I need a cloud-based stock-take platform that lets users in food & beverage outlets, schools, and hospitals view, count, and manage inventory in real time. The core must live online with a responsive web interface and companion mobile app so staff can walk the floor and update counts on phones or tablets without losing connectivity. Key functions I’m expecting: • Real-time stock updates that sync instantly between web and mobile • Supplier management—create, edit, and report on suppliers, tying each item to its primary vendor • User-friendly dashboards showing on-hand, allocated, and reorder levels at a glance • Role-based access so managers, receivers, and auditors see only what they need • Secure sign-in (email/password or SSO) and audit logs of every adjustment Nice-to-have if you already have the framework: barcode scanning for quicker counts. Technical notes • Cloud hosting of your choice (AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar) with a scalable database • Modern stack—Laravel, Node.js, Django, or another mainstream framework is fine as long as it’s well-documented • REST or GraphQL API so future POS integrations are straightforward • Android & iOS builds can be hybrid (Flutter / React Native) or native—whatever keeps maintenance reasonable Deliverables 1. Working web app deployed to a test environment 2. Mobile builds delivered as APK/IPA or via TestFlight 3. Source code with install/compile instructions 4. Basic setup guide and user manual 5. Two weeks of post-handover bug support to iron out any critical issues This is a medium-sized project: I’m looking for a functional prototype polished enough to roll out at a pilot location, then we can scope refinements in a separate phase. Let me know which tech stack you recommend, any similar projects you’ve shipped, and an outline timeline to hit the first usable demo.
