We are looking to develop a cloud-based multi-vendor rental marketplace platform for renting electronics, gaming consoles, laptops, and other assets. The platform will include vendor management, product listings, real-time booking, secure payments, logistics tracking, and an admin dashboard. It should be built with a scalable cloud architecture and support future expansion. Due to the sensitive nature of the project, a refundable security deposit of 10% (approx. $2,300) may be required from the selected developer/team to ensure data security, commitment, and protection against potential breaches. The amount will be fully refunded upon successful project completion. Key modules I expect you to deliver 1. Responsive web application plus companion iOS and Android apps sharing a common API layer. 2. Secure checkout with major cards, UPI/wallets and split payouts to vendors after commission. 3. Booking engine with time-based inventory locking and automated cancellation rules. 4. Logistics integration for order status and live tracking. 5. Analytics dashboard covering GMV, utilisation rates, churn and city-wise performance. 6. Multi-tenant architecture ready to scale quickly as we launch in additional cities. Acceptance criteria • Page loads under 2 s at 1 k concurrent users in staging tests. • PCI-DSS-compliant payment flow; no sensitive data stored unencrypted. • iOS (latest two major versions) and Android (API 26+) apps pass App/Play Store review. • 80 %+ unit test coverage on backend services; CI/CD pipeline configured. • Comprehensive admin controls demonstrated on a live staging URL before final hand-off. Code ownership, detailed documentation and a short hand-off workshop are part of the final deliverable.
