We are seeking a skilled WordPress developer to build a professional, high-quality website for a new Christian academy daycare in Texas, with plans to expand into a full-grade school. The project will utilize an existing WordPress domain with setup and hosting already in place. The website should reflect the excellence of our sister site (e.g., www.stclementnpr.org) while showcasing a faith-centered, welcoming, and modern design to attract and retain enrollment. Key Responsibilities Website Development: Design and develop a responsive, fully functional WordPress website optimized for seamless performance on iOS and Android devices, ensuring accessibility, smooth navigation, and a polished user experience. Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with a committee board to understand and implement requirements for site pages, updates, and interactive elements, including admission forms, a 3D virtual tour of the facility, and high-quality images showcasing classrooms and the school environment. Technical Collaboration: Partner with two technical engineers with WordPress and website design expertise to gain insights into plugins, page configurations, settings, and other technical aspects to ensure a robust and cohesive site structure. Premium User Experience: Create a dynamic, top-tier website that promotes engagement, encourages new enrollments, and fosters continued interest from prospective and current families through intuitive design and compelling content. Requirements - Proven expertise in WordPress development, including theme customization, plugin integration, and responsive design. Will need to integrate with ProCare and Calendly at a minimum. - Experience collaborating with stakeholders to translate requirements into functional website features. - Familiarity with creating interactive elements like 3D virtual tours and online forms. - Strong communication skills to work effectively with both non-technical committee members and technical engineers. - A portfolio showcasing professional, user-focused websites, preferably in the educational or nonprofit sector.
