I run a busy local chicken shop and I’m ready to give customers a simple way to place an order, follow its progress, and pay cash when the driver shows up. The app needs to feel quick and familiar, work natively on both iOS and Android, and keep the entire experience focused on order placement and real-time tracking. Here’s the customer flow I have in mind: they open the app, see today’s chicken menu with prices and photos, add items to a cart, choose delivery or store pickup, confirm their address and contact details, and check out with the only payment option we currently allow—cash on delivery. Once the order is submitted, live status updates (received, preparing, out for delivery, delivered) should appear automatically so customers don’t have to ring the shop for updates. On the shop side I’ll need a lightweight way to: • receive and acknowledge new orders, • update status steps with a single tap, and • adjust item availability or daily specials without redeploying the whole app. Feel free to recommend the stack you’re most comfortable with—whether that’s Flutter, React Native, or fully native code—as long as the final product is smooth, easily maintainable, and published to both the App Store and Google Play under my accounts.
