ChatGPT Email Assistant Setup

I’d like to turn my overflowing inbox into something I can skim in minutes. The top priority is to connect ChatGPT (via the OpenAI API or a comparable LLM) to my email account so every incoming message—customer inquiries, internal notes, order or production updates—gets: • auto-classified and tagged, • summarized in plain language, and • answered with a draft reply I can quickly approve or edit. Key requirements • Drafts only—no message is sent without my final click. • The reply tone must match our existing style; I can supply sample emails for fine-tuning. • The solution should sit in Gmail or Outlook (I’ll decide once you outline the smoother route) and run continuously without me triggering scripts manually. • A simple dashboard, Google Sheet or similar log where I can see the summary, the generated draft, and a “send / edit” link is ideal. Nice to have (phase two) If you’re also comfortable pulling CSV output from our manufacturing software, I’d like an add-on that turns daily production data into quick visual snapshots. Note, though, that email handling comes first. Deliverables 1. Working integration with my inbox that performs the three bullet-point functions above. 2. Clear documentation so I can adjust prompts, labels or tone without coding knowledge. 3. A brief hand-off session (video or live) to walk me through upkeep. Please outline the tech stack you propose (Python + Gmail API, Google Apps Script, Zapier, Microsoft Power Automate, etc.) and an estimated turnaround.
