HelmLog is a cloud-based service that turns every boat’s paperwork into a “Carfax-style” digital history. I already have the product vision, brand direction, and market research; now I need the full-stack implementation that pulls it all together. Scope of the build • Single codebase powering a web app plus a mobile-first interface that behaves flawlessly on both iOS and Android browsers. • Secure user flow: registration, login, Stripe-powered subscriptions and an admin panel for account, payment, and content management. • Multi-boat dashboard where each vessel can store a comprehensive profile: make, model, year, engine specifics, equipment lists, and any custom fields I choose to add. • Deep customization inside every boat profile including: – Customizable fields – Multiple photo uploads – Owner notes and memos • Maintenance log with receipt uploads, engine-hour tracking, service reminders, and visibility toggles so owners decide which data is public. • Each vessel generates a unique QR/NFC code that links to its online log; scanning at the helm instantly surfaces its records. • Clean, modern “marine blue” UI that stays lightweight and responsive across mobile, tablet, and desktop. • Cloud architecture (your choice of AWS, GCP, or Azure) designed for easy scaling and data durability. Acceptance criteria 1. New user can subscribe, add at least two boats, and view them seamlessly on desktop and on iOS/Android Safari/Chrome. 2. Scanning a boat’s QR code while logged out loads its public page; scanning while logged in surfaces the full editable profile. 3. Admin dashboard lists users, boats, and payments with role-based access. 4. Performance scores 90+ on Google Lighthouse mobile. Deliverables • Source-controlled full-stack codebase • Deployed staging and production environments • Brief hand-off documentation covering architecture, environment variables, and future module hooks. The project is ready to move as soon as the technical plan and timeline are set.
