The role is purely technical-assessment focused and covers both Node.js and Python since our stack toggles between the two. Here’s the flow I have in mind: • Before each session you craft or select a concise, real-world coding exercise that touches on algorithms, data processing logic or lightweight API work—nothing contrived, just the kind of task an engineering hire would tackle on day one. • You run a live 45- to 60-minute remote interview with the candidate, giving them the prompt, watching their screen, asking clarifying questions and probing for edge-case thinking. • Immediately afterward you deliver a written scorecard: code correctness, performance trade-offs, clarity, communication and any red flags or standout strengths. A short summary paragraph plus a numeric rating is enough; I mainly want clear hire/no-hire guidance I can forward to the rest of the team. Acceptance criteria 1. Exercises must execute in either Node.js (LTS) or Python 3.10+—candidate chooses which. 2. Interview recording link and scorecard arrive within 24 h of each session. 3. All materials stay private; I will own the questions and reports once delivered. We average two interviews a week right now and expect spikes during quarterly hiring pushes.
