We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust data solutions on the Azure platform. This role requires strong technical expertise in Azure Data Engineering services and hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). Requirements: • Proven experience as an Azure Data Engineer with end-to-end data solutions • Strong proficiency in Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics • Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) - this is essential • Solid experience in SQL programming and Python scripting • Experience with ETL processes, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts • Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and DevOps practices • Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Deliverables: • Design and implement scalable data solutions on Azure platform • Develop ETL processes using Azure Data Factory for data ingestion and transformation • Create data processing solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics • Utilize Azure Databricks for advanced analytics and large dataset processing • Provide regular project updates and collaborate with stakeholders • Deliver optimized database performance through efficient SQL querying This is an hourly position requiring strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment. Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate certification is preferred but not required.
