The system should reduce manual data entry by extracting information from insurance documents and populating an existing Excel template. This is a practical automation project, not a website or mobile app. Main Requirements The system should: • Read documents from a selected folder• Support scanned PDFs, digital PDFs, and mobile photos (JPG/PNG)• Perform OCR to extract text• Identify document types automatically (RC, Policy, DL, Estimate, Invoice)• Extract structured fields using AI• Populate predefined Excel template automatically• Read estimate parts table and fill rows in Excel• Read invoice and match items against estimate rows using fuzzy matching• Leave unmatched estimate rows blank• Generate final Excel survey report Technology Preference Required skills: • Python• OCR (Tesseract / EasyOCR or similar)• PDF table extraction (Camelot / pdfplumber / Tabula etc.)• Excel automation (openpyxl / pandas / xlwings)• Fuzzy matching (RapidFuzz or similar)• API integration for structured AI extraction Desktop-based solution preferred (.exe).
