We are looking for an experienced Android developer (or small team) to build aprototype Android application for internal telecom testing purposes. The goal of the project is to develop aproof-of-concept mobile app that runs on Android smartphones and automatically logs communication-related events occurring on the device. These events may include incoming SMS, voice calls, and other messaging-related notifications available on the smartphone. The application will collect event data in a structured format and periodically generate log files that can be exported to an external system. The prototype is intended to validate technical feasibility, data accuracy, and overall approach before further production development. This project is not a consumer app and does not require publishing to Google Play. Distribution will be internal (APK). Scope (High-Level) Android prototype application Background event logging on a smartphone Structured log file generation (e.g., CSV or similar) Basic configuration (e.g., test number, operator identifiers) Focus on technical feasibility and stability rather than UI Expected Outcome Working Android prototype (APK) Source code Short technical explanation of the chosen implementation approach Sample log files Important Notes This is a prototype / PoC, not a full commercial product. Detailed technical requirements will be shared with shortlisted candidates under confidentiality. Experience with Android background services, system permissions, and event/notification handling is a strong plus.
