I run a small transport fleet and I’m ready to digitise the day-to-day paperwork my drivers juggle. What I need is a straightforward Android application that lets each driver log in with a unique ID, record every leg of a trip, and push all the critical details straight to my admin dashboard. Core workflow • A driver signs in, taps “Start Load”, and the app captures the current GPS location and date-time stamp automatically. • They fill in truck weight, freight value, expected diesel, and snap a photo of the weigh-bridge slip. • On arrival, they tap “Unload”, the app grabs the new GPS point and time, and they add the final weight, diesel used, and payment received. Everything from location and time to cost, diesel usage, and photos must sync to an admin-controlled back-end where I can create, edit, or disable driver accounts, pull daily or monthly summaries, and export the raw data as CSV. Acceptance criteria – Native Android build (Kotlin or Java) with responsive layouts. – Secure email / phone + password login for drivers; full CRUD user management for admin. – Background GPS capture that respects battery life but never loses a stop. – Offline data caching with automatic sync when the device reconnects. – In-app camera integration restricted to weigh-bridge photos only. – Clear, readable code and one-click build instructions so I can maintain the app in-house.
