A lightweight local database (Room, Realm or SQLite—your call) is fine, as long as the data is encrypted at rest. I also want Google-account sign-in so that, when I’m ready, I can expand to cloud sync. Material 3 components and Kotlin are preferred because I want the UI to look modern and stay maintainable.
