THIS IS PART TIME / HOURLY AS NEEDED WORK - if not interested in hourly as needed work over a long period of time, please do not bid. ---------------- My Kotlin-based Android app, backed by Node.js functions on Firebase, is already 75 % complete. The next milestone is all about cleaning up bugs and defects—most of them visible as UI glitches. Once the interface is stable we will move straight into performance tuning, focusing on app loading time, memory usage, and stripping out any deprecated code that crept in during rapid prototyping. You will work part-time on an hourly basis (as needed, not continuous work). I’ll keep the project open and raise new milestones as needs arise, so expect an ongoing collaboration that may later include integrating a payment processor and broader UI enhancements. Current sprint objectives • squash the reported UI glitches so every screen renders consistently • shave seconds off the initial launch time and bring memory consumption down to an acceptable level • replace or refactor deprecated code/APIs • refactor node.js to a scalable solution (currently on a personal server) The codebase lives in a private Git repo; I merge through pull requests after review. Android Studio, Kotlin Coroutines/Flows, Firebase Firestore, and standard Material 3 components are the daily tools here, so please be comfortable with them. If this sounds like the kind of iterative, quality-driven work you enjoy, let me know your availability and I’ll share the backlog of open issues so we can start clearing them together.
