The core engine does its job well for both in-house and external equipment, but the interface feels dated and several day-to-day tasks still require work-arounds. I therefore need two things completed in the same development cycle: 1) a refreshed, modern user interface that is intuitive on desktop and tablet screens, and 2) a set of practical new features that streamline scheduling, certificate storage, and automated reminders (full functional spec will be shared once you’ve signed the NDA). You’ll start by reviewing the existing codebase and database schema with me over a screenshare so you can assess the architecture and suggest the cleanest way to layer in the improvements. I’m open to your preferred frameworks as long as they integrate smoothly with what we already have and keep deployment downtime to a minimum. Deliverables • Redesigned UI implemented across all current modules • New feature set coded, tested, and merged into the main branch • Migration or update scripts, if schema changes are required • Concise release notes plus a brief user guide outlining the updates Acceptance criteria will revolve around UI responsiveness, feature test cases we walk through together, and a successful staging-to-production deployment.
