Amber Fort Dream Machines Montage

I’m supplying three high-resolution photographs of Jaipur’s Amber Fort and a list of nineteen of Leonardo da Vinci’s “dream machines.” Your task is to design an interior-scale exhibition that lives only inside those images. The fort’s historic walls, arches and courtyards must stay exactly as they appear; all interventions should be installations you conceive in SketchUp and then integrate into each photo in Photoshop before producing a polished final render. The concept statement you’ll be bringing to life is: “Movement through interactive surfaces creates sensory experiences.” For this project we are concentrating on the visual sense—lighting, transparency, reflection, scale shifts and spatial layering should communicate motion and interaction even though visitors will ultimately experience the work through a static image. You have full creative freedom in deciding how each machine engages with floors, walls, ceilings or volumes: hovering, embedded, projected, suspended—whatever best supports the narrative and honours the architecture. Just keep structural alterations to the fort off-limits. Deliverables • One SketchUp file (with neatly organised layers and textures) containing the nineteen machines and any supporting exhibition elements. • Three layered PSD files—one for each photograph—showing your installations composited into the original shots. • Three high-resolution JPG or PNG renders suitable for print and on-screen presentation. • A short visual key (JPEG or PDF) that labels each machine inside the montage for reference. I will provide the original photos, machine list, scale references and the full design brief as soon as we start.
