I’m building a fully custom online dropship store that lets shoppers buy a product and, in the same flow, reserve a doorstep installation appointment. Because the concept mixes e-commerce with real-time service scheduling, I want to architect the platform from the ground up rather than lean on Shopify or WooCommerce templates. I’ll be collaborating one-on-one with the developer who takes this on—no agencies, no account managers—so we can iterate quickly and explore ideas together. A major part of those ideas is extensive use of AI: • machine-learning product recommendations tuned to conversion metrics • a conversational chatbot for pre- and post-sale support • AI-assisted UI/UX experiments and on-the-fly content generation for product pages and marketing sections Beyond those intelligent layers, the core build needs to cover inventory syncing with suppliers, flexible shipping/fulfilment rules, a calendar that exposes only live installer slots, secure payments, automated emails/SMS, an admin dashboard and clean, responsive front-end design. Stack choice is open—I’m comfortable with modern JavaScript frameworks, Python or any environment that will scale and let us integrate the AI components efficiently. Deliverables I’ll sign off on: 1. Source-controlled codebase with clear commit history 2. Deployed staging and production environments, containerised or serverless as appropriate 3. Documentation of architecture, AI models used and hand-off instructions 4. A brief Loom or Zoom walkthrough at completion When you reply, please include links to past work that shows similar custom e-commerce builds or AI integrations. A concise overview of the approach you’d take is welcome, but I’m mainly judging by what you’ve shipped before. I’m ready to start as soon as I find the right partner.
