I’m building a free, web-based forensic tracer that follows tainted or stolen funds across multiple blockchains and generates evidence that a bank, exchange, or law-enforcement officer can act on. The platform will produce a professional, CPA-grade evidence bundle with clear steps for victims to pursue recovery or reporting. Core Scope (Phase 1) Automatic multi-chain tracing of transactions on BTC, ETH, SOL, and other top chains (configurable hop limit). Export options: detailed transaction logs in CSV / JSON and a human-readable PDF report that meets accounting & legal documentation standards. Auto-compiled “Next Steps” guide explaining how and where victims should submit reports to major exchanges and regulators. AI Assistance Modules Lightweight AI components should: Pre-triage wallet addresses and flag common red-flags or laundering patterns. Summarize key findings from each trace for a clear case overview. Suggest the most relevant exchange reporting portals based on on-chain behavior. Generate plain-language explanations that victims can paste directly into support or law-enforcement tickets. One-click submission to supported exchanges (after manual verification). Paid manual review workflow for internal analysts. Easy expansion to additional chains once the core engine is stable. Deliverables A functional prototype deployed on my server (or a secure sandbox). Clean, well-documented code — Python preferred (Node.js or Go also fine). A detailed README explaining setup, APIs, and extension points. A short Loom / video walkthrough showing the tracer in action. Tech Stack Guidance Open-source libraries like BlockSci, Web3.py, ethers.js, or Solana JSON-RPC are ideal. Commercial APIs (e.g. Chainalysis, TRM, Bitquery) may be used as optional connectors, but the core tracer must remain free-to-run. For AI tasks, lightweight OpenAI API, Claude, or local LLM calls are acceptable. Timeline & Collaboration Initial demo within 4 weeks, followed by iterative polishing of the UI, report layout, and AI text output. I’m available daily via Slack or Telegram for fast feedback and milestone reviews. Preferred Experience Developers who have built blockchain explorers, AML dashboards, or Chainalysis-style forensic tools are strongly preferred. Please include relevant screenshots, links, or GitHub repos in your proposal. ✅ Notes Focus on accuracy, clarity, and modularity — the project will expand to 40+ chains. Emphasis on privacy, security, and professional documentation (think law-enforcement-ready, not hobby-grade). Bonus points if you’ve previously worked with Bitquery, Alchemy, or multi-chain indexing.
