We’re looking for a Computer Vision and Machine Learning expert to help develop a tool that leverages AI and smartphone cameras to create high-quality 3D product images - without the need for expensive scanning equipment or traditional photoshoots. We want to explore the feasibility of using AI and smartphone cameras to generate high-quality 3D product visuals - without relying on professional scanning gear or traditional photography setups. We propose developing a Proof of Concept (PoC) to evaluate this approach. The PoC will include: Data Capture: Using a smartphone camera to capture images of a product (e.g., a watch) from multiple angles. Data Processing: Uploading the captured data to the cloud, where AI and ML algorithms process it. Asset Creation: Generating high-quality product visuals for digital use (e.g., on e-commerce websites). Key questions we aim to answer through the PoC include: - Is capturing images from multiple angles using a smartphone sufficient to generate high-quality product visuals? - Can we change the camera angles and create new product images in a single click? - What technologies are needed to support the full pipeline? - Do we need additional hardware (e.g., a simple scanning rig), or is a standard smartphone camera enough? - What is the quality of the final visuals? Can we enhance or upscale them if needed? - Would it be possible to use interactive 3D models for product showcases on customers' websites?
