I’m a practising advocate based in Jaipur and I’m ready to replace the jumble of spreadsheets, notebooks, and WhatsApp threads with a single, purpose-built client management system. The goal is simple: keep every client’s details, matter history, documents, and next-steps in one secure, searchable place so I can focus on the courtroom, not on chasing paperwork. At minimum the system must let me add and retrieve client profiles quickly, attach case notes or scanned documents, and set reminders for hearings or follow-ups. A clean dashboard, role-based access (for my clerk or junior), and effortless data-backup are essential. I’m open to your suggestions on additional modules—case tracking or appointment scheduling, for instance—so long as they stay intuitive and lightweight. I don’t mind whether you prefer Laravel, Django, Node, or another modern stack so long as the final product runs smoothly in a standard web browser and can be self-hosted on a modest VPS.
