2km Arma Frontline Map

Замовник: AI | Опубліковано: 11.04.2026

The brief is to create a fully playable, roughly 2 × 2 km battlefield for Arma Reforger that captures the feel of a modern Ukrainian front line while running smoothly in multiplayer. Terrain, assets, lighting and optimisation all need to work together so infantry combat feels tense, realistic and balanced. Terrain concept • Layered front line: open fields scarred by craters and shell-torn earth, threaded with a highly detailed trench network. The trenches must include dugouts, command posts and connecting communication lines, with some segments partially collapsed or hastily repaired to show use under fire. • Forest belt: a dense yet navigable woodland designed for movement and manoeuvre between cover. Sight-lines should open and close quickly, rewarding flanking and quick decision-making. • Villages: several small settlements laid out in a mixed pattern—some clustered groups of houses, others more spread out—to guarantee varied firefights. Buildings should range from intact to lightly damaged; only a handful may be partially destroyed. Streets, back-yards and farm plots need believable clutter for cover without overwhelming performance. • Transitional ground: hedgerows, drainage ditches and sunken roads connecting key areas, encouraging players to choose between exposed speed and covered approaches. Gameplay & technical goals • Smooth 60 FPS target on official PvP servers with 32–48 players. • Natural-looking LoDs and material blending to avoid pop-in. • Navigation mesh and AI paths baked for SP scenarios. • Lighting tuned for clear visibility by day and atmospheric night ops. Deliverables – Packaged .mod folder ready for Steam Workshop upload (including world data, terrain assets and config). – Editable World Editor project files so I can tweak layers later. – Read-me outlining any custom assets, dependencies or configuration changes. – Short test scenario showcasing typical infantry, vehicle and AI behaviour. Acceptance checks 1. All trenches traversable by player and AI without clipping. 2. Average client FPS ≥ 60 on default “High” preset during a 48-player stress test. 3. No critical script errors or missing textures in the RPT log. 4. Map loads in under 45 seconds on an SSD.
