I’m running a WordPress site whose theme has started misbehaving. On both the home page and our product/service pages, sections have slipped out of place and the styling no longer matches the original design. I need someone to dive directly into the theme files (or a child theme, if that’s safer), identify what broke, and bring the layout and CSS back into line without disturbing existing content or plugins. Scope of work • Pinpoint and correct the layout glitches that are pushing elements out of alignment on the home page and product pages. • Re-establish the intended typography, colours and spacing defined in the theme’s style.css so every element renders consistently on desktop, tablet and mobile. • Cross-browser test (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) to be sure no new visual issues appear. • Document any code changes so future updates remain straightforward. Acceptance criteria • Home page and product/service pages load without visual anomalies at common breakpoints (1366 px, 1024 px, 768 px, 425 px). • No console errors tied to the edits. • All fixes live inside a child theme or custom CSS panel—core theme files untouched unless absolutely necessary. • Work is handed over with a brief summary of files edited and CSS rules added or replaced. If you’re comfortable troubleshooting WordPress themes, tweaking CSS, and testing responsively, I’d love to have these pages looking sharp again.
