Scope • Track down the root cause of the failure (server error, corrupted files, database issue, or malicious code) and get the site loading normally again. • Perform a complete malware/virus scan using your preferred tools (Sucuri, Wordfence, or similar) and remove any infections you find. • Once clean, harden the installation—update core files, themes, and plugins, tighten file permissions, and add any practical security rules (.htaccess, wp-config improvements, etc.). • Provide a brief report outlining what broke, what you fixed, any malicious code found, and the security steps taken so I can keep track for future reference.
