I run a prize-draw competition site built on WordPress and now need deep-level improvements that go well beyond simple settings tweaks. You’ll be extending and tightening our current setup, which already relies on a WordPress lottery plug-in, so hands-on experience with that plug-in is essential. The scope in plain terms: • Design and code a lightweight custom theme that keeps page speed high while staying compliant with the lottery plug-in’s templates and hooks. • Build or adapt bespoke plug-ins where the lottery tool falls short, especially around a smoother, conversion-focused checkout process. That includes refining the cart flow, adding any extra validation we need, and making sure payment gateways fire correctly every time. • Add any additional custom features the site needs as we discover them during development—think tailored ticket bundles, dynamic odds displays, or countdown widgets—all coded the WordPress way (actions, filters, CPTs). • Test everything end-to-end on a staging copy, then migrate to production with zero downtime. Acceptance criteria 1. Theme passes Google Lighthouse with 90+ scores across the board. 2. Checkout journey completes in three clicks or fewer, transactions logged and verifiable in both the lottery plug-in dashboard and WooCommerce/Stripe. 3. New code follows WP-Coding-Standards and is fully documented for future maintenance.
