Wix Store Design & COD Integration

I’m building a clothing-and-accessories store on Wix and I want it to look clean, modern, and minimalist from the very first fold to the final checkout click. The templated layouts that ship with Wix don’t quite get me there, so I need a developer-designer who can push the platform’s editor, Velo, and any compatible Wix apps to give the site a bespoke feel. Core objectives • Custom page styling – home, product, collection, cart, and about pages – kept lightweight, whitespace-driven, and fully responsive. • Cash-on-Delivery tweak – shoppers choose COD, pay a fixed or percentage advance on the same checkout screen, and the order is only marked “confirmed” once that advance payment clears. Any standard gateways already supported by Wix are fine for collecting the advance. • Smooth customer journey – quick-load gallery, size/colour variants, coupon field, and automated email confirmations tied to the COD logic. • Clothing & accessories focus – filters for size, gender, price, and new arrivals, plus an easy path to add more categories later without re-coding the theme. Deliverables 1. A live Wix e-commerce site matching the approved minimalist mock-ups. 2. Custom Velo (or suitable app) script that enforces the COD-with-advance workflow and triggers order status updates. 3. Hand-off guide (brief Loom or PDF) showing where to adjust advance percentages, add new products, and swap hero images. Acceptance criteria – Design renders consistently on desktop, tablet, and mobile. – COD option requests advance, processes payment, and flags the order as “confirmed” automatically. – No third-party branding or trial watermarks remain. If you’ve bent Wix to do similar checkout customisations before, I’d like to see them. Once we align on the first draft, I’m ready to move quickly through revisions and go live.
