I run a product-centric operation that lives inside PTC Windchill, and I now need an experienced Windchill PLM developer and architect to take our environment to the next level. The immediate focus is squarely on the PLM side—deep customisation, extension, and optimisation of core Windchill services. Your day-to-day work will include designing the technical architecture, coding enhancements, and ensuring everything aligns with Windchill best practices so our product data flows cleanly from concept through release. You should feel at home with Windchill APIs, Java customisations, WC-adaptors, and Info*Engine tasks, and be able to translate business requirements into maintainable solutions without sacrificing system performance. Key deliverables: • A high-level architecture blueprint covering the new PLM capabilities • Clean, well-documented code modules or custom actions deployed to our dev instance • Configuration guides and hand-off documentation so my internal team can maintain what you build I’ll provide access to our current Windchill 12.x environment, test data, and a sandbox for deployment. Once the proposed architecture is approved, we can work in milestones that walk from prototype to production rollout, with code reviews at each checkpoint to keep quality high.
