Web Application Homework Project

I have a software-development assignment that requires me to submit a working web application. The emphasis is on demonstrating core concepts rather than launching a full-scale product, so I’m after a clean, well-commented codebase that I can easily walk my instructor through. Here’s what I know so far • The project must be a web application—frontend and backend both need to be present, even if lightweight. • My professor hasn’t fixed the exact theme; any straightforward CRUD idea (blog posts, simple shop cart, task tracker, etc.) is acceptable as long as the logic is clear. • Readability, modular structure, and inline comments are graded almost as heavily as the feature itself. Once we start, I’ll forward the full rubric and any starter files I’ve been given. Feel free to suggest the tech stack you’re most comfortable with—Flask, Django, Node.js/Express, Laravel, or plain PHP are all acceptable to my instructor. Deliverables 1. Complete source code, structured so I can run it locally with a single command or minimal setup. 2. A short README (markdown is fine) explaining install steps, how to test each feature, and which files map to which requirements. 3. Quick demo video or annotated screenshots proving everything works—this saves back-and-forth right before my submission deadline. If you can also include a brief write-up of design choices and possible future improvements, that will score me extra points, but it’s optional. Timing is fairly tight, so please tell me how soon you can deliver a first draft and how many revisions you’re happy to provide.
