Job Title: Twilio Call Bridge + Recording Integration (Vapi / GoHighLevel / VOIP Diagnostics) Project Overview: We use Vapi AI voice agents connected to Twilio (and sometimes GoHighLevel VOIP) for inbound and outbound calls. Currently: AI recordings stop once the call is transferred to a human or VOIP line. We’re also noticing dropped or incomplete calls, and need diagnostics/log visibility. We need a Twilio expert to: Create a call bridge / conference setup so both the AI leg and human VOIP leg are captured in the same continuous recording. Diagnose call-drop causes (e.g., transfer disconnects, webhook timeouts, or leg mismatches). Confirm both sides (caller + receiver) are audible in the final recording. Optionally, help send missed-call or dropped-call data to an email or webhook (GoHighLevel) for alerts. Environment / Stack: Twilio (Programmable Voice, Functions, or Studio) Vapi AI voice bot (AI leg initiator) GoHighLevel VOIP (occasionally takes transferred calls) Smart Contact AI backend SendGrid (for email alerts) Deliverables: Working Twilio conference or call-bridge function that maintains recording continuity Access to complete recordings (caller + agent) in Twilio Console or via webhook Logs or debugging info showing why calls are being dropped Optional: webhook → email alert on CallStatus=missed or CallStatus=failed Ideal Skills: Strong Twilio Voice / Functions / Studio experience Familiar with call bridging, dual-call-leg recording, and SIP transfers Understanding of GoHighLevel or Vapi (bonus) Comfortable debugging webhooks and Twilio call events
