Transport Fleet Management Website

I want to put my entire transport operation on a single, easy-to-use web platform. The core of the build is real-time vehicle tracking and a flexible driver assignment module. Vehicle tracking Each vehicle should appear on an interactive map, updating its position automatically. Historical trip data, current status, and basic alerts (idle time, route deviation) need to sit behind a clean dashboard my team can read at a glance. Driver assignment The system has to be smart enough to assign a driver automatically when one is available, yet still let an administrator step in and choose a specific person whenever we need tighter control. Both actions must create a clear log so we can see who was assigned, when, and by whom. If you have existing components or libraries that speed up that logic, I am open to using them. Vehicle assignment & management I also need a simple panel to pair vehicles to jobs, store registration details, and archive past assignments. An expandable structure is important because we will add maintenance and other modules later. Tech expectations Responsive front-end (React, Vue, or similar) and a solid back-end API (Node, Django, or comparable) work for us; just propose what you prefer and why. Any modern mapping service (Google Maps, Mapbox, OpenStreetMap, etc.) is fine as long as the licence fits commercial use. Please keep the database schema clearly documented so my internal team can maintain it after launch. Deliverables • Fully functional, responsive website with the features above • Source code in a Git repository with commit history • Basic admin credentials for testing (driver, dispatcher, super-admin) • Short hand-over guide: environment setup, deployment steps, and API endpoints I’m ready to move quickly once I see a concise plan, timeline, and previous work that proves you have handled similar fleet or logistics projects.
