Job Description I’m looking for a skilled developer experienced in TradingView (Pine Script), Chrome extensions, and JavaScript/Python automation to help me customise or rebuild a TradingView strategy optimiser. We currently use the open-source extension OptiPie, which allows parameter optimisation on TradingView strategies. I’d like to enhance its capabilities — or create a new tool inspired by it — to allow more advanced and automated optimisation workflows. I’m open to either customising the existing open-source OptiPie extension or building a new tool inspired by it — whichever is more efficient and robust. Project Goals Run batch optimisations across multiple strategies, symbols, and timeframes. Add support for custom metrics, such as: Max Drawdown Take Profit / Stop Loss ratios Profit Factor Sharpe Ratio (or similar risk-adjusted returns) Automate parameter sweeps and generate detailed performance reports (CSV, JSON, or dashboard). Create an intuitive UI dashboard to manage optimisation runs and visualise results. (Optional) Integrate a simple AI/ML layer for intelligent parameter suggestion and adaptive testing. Technical Requirements Strong experience with JavaScript / TypeScript (OptiPie is built in JS). Familiarity with TradingView, Pine Script, and Strategy Tester mechanics. Experience building Chrome extensions and/or browser automation tools. Optional: Python or Node.js for post-processing, analytics, or batch testing. Understanding of key trading metrics and backtesting principles (profit factor, drawdown, expectancy, etc.). Deliverables A working browser extension or web-based optimisation dashboard that: Can test and compare multiple strategies automatically. Allows optimisation by custom metrics (Net Profit, Max DD, etc.). Stores results locally or via cloud (Google Sheets, CSV, JSON). Simple, documented installation and usage guide. Optional: an integrated results dashboard or web interface for easier analysis. Ideal Candidate Proven experience building Chrome extensions or web automation tools. Familiar with TradingView / Pine Script development. Comfortable with data visualisation and performance analytics. Detail-oriented, communicative, and capable of delivering clean, documented code.
