Overview We are seeking a Technical Project Manager / QA Lead to take ownership of the final completion and deployment of our custom ticketing platform. All development work has been by our existing developer. The focus now is final verification, issue tracking, and deployment readiness — ensuring the system is fully functional, stable, and production-ready. This person will manage the completion process. You’ll be responsible for verifying that all remaining work meets requirements, coordinating any fixes with the developer, and ensuring that deployment is executed cleanly. Access can be provided as needed to project resources such as DigitalOcean, Stripe, Postmark, Redis/Valkey, and the staging/production environments. Responsibilities Review the existing QA & Completion Tracker document to understand remaining issues. Prioritize functional testing over cosmetic/UI checks. Coordinate closely with our developer to clarify, verify, and close out any outstanding issues. Execute structured QA passes on staging (ticketing, refund, rebooking, reporting, inventory logic). Oversee and confirm the final production deployment. Provide brief and clear updates and documentation throughout the 7-day period. Deliverables Updated QA & Completion Tracker with pass/fail outcomes and test notes. Verification that all core systems (checkout, refunds, reporting, rebooking, inventory) are operating correctly. Confirmation that infrastructure and integrations (DigitalOcean, Redis/Valkey, Stripe, Postmark, database, SSL) are secure and stable. Final sign-off report confirming completed public launch. Milestones 1. 20% Review & QA Plan -- Review documentation, staging access, and create test plan & action steps 2. 50% QA Execution & Coordination -- Execute tests, manage completion of outstanding items, verify fixes, report progress 3. 30% Final Deployment & Sign-Off -- Oversee deployment and verify production stability Terms Milestone payments will be released after completion and acceptance of deliverables. Must be available for daily check-ins during the 7-day window. Work must be completed and confirmed within 7 calendar days from project start. Ideal Candidate Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, QA Lead, or Delivery Manager for software products. Strong understanding of Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis/Valkey, Stripe, and DigitalOcean. Experienced in coordinating between business owners and developers to bring projects to completion. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Capable of managing the QA and launch process end-to-end — including test planning, validation, and deployment oversight. Notes This role manages and verifies completion. Access to all required systems (DigitalOcean, Stripe, Postmark, etc.) will be provided as needed. Cosmetic/UI verification will follow only after all core functionality has been validated and confirmed.
