We are looking for an experienced freelance SolidWorks designer to produce production-quality 3D models and engineering drawings for two drone platforms. Complete engineering specifications, airfoil coordinates, station definitions, spar layouts, control surface geometry, and internal bay arrangements are provided in detailed drafting documents. The freelancer will translate these into fully parametric SolidWorks models. Scope of Work The designer will be responsible for producing the following deliverables for each drone platform: • Complete 3D solid models of all airframe components: fuselage sections, wing panels, winglets, control surfaces (elevons, drag rudders, droop slats), spars, ribs, keel structures, and skin panels • Internal layout modelling: engine bay, fuel tank cavity, payload bay, avionics tray, intake S-duct, and exhaust tailcone • Top-level assembly files with all parts correctly mated, including symmetry mirror of the right half to produce the full aircraft • Engineering drawings (ISO third-angle projection) with dimensions, tolerances, section views, detail views, and a ZYKAR title block • STEP and IGES export files suitable for CFD meshing and CNC/mould toolpath generation • Parametric design using global equations and linked dimensions so that design changes propagate automatically What We Provide • Complete engineering drafting specifications with every dimension, coordinate, and tolerance needed to model each drone • Step-by-step SolidWorks modelling manuals (our internal reference documents) outlining the exact workflow, file structure, naming conventions, and global equations • Airfoil coordinate tables (normalised) ready for import via Curve Through XYZ Points • Station-by-station planform definitions including chord, sweep, t/c, twist, spar positions, and skin thicknesses • Internal bay layouts, engine dimensions, fuel tank geometry, and payload bay envelopes
