I need a talented 3D product designer to turn my vision for a consumer-grade respirator into a compelling concept model. The device must handle high-risk environments—chemical fumes, fine particulates, or urban pollution—yet still look and feel like something you would willingly wear in public. Priorities: • Comfort & fit: hugs the face without pressure points, intuitive strap system, wearable for long periods. • Aesthetic appeal: thin, sculpted profile, minimal seams, modern tech styling (think Dyson/Apple) rather than industrial PPE. • Sustainability: casing materials should be recyclable, with filters designed to be returned/recycled. • Proprietary filter system: design must accommodate custom replaceable filters that only fit this mask (details shared privately after NDA). Scope of Work • Ideate several exterior silhouettes and surface break-ups based on filter housing requirements. • Develop a refined 3D CAD model (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Rhino, or similar) with basic internal architecture (filter housing, seal geometry, airflow). • Produce high-quality renderings (KeyShot, Blender, or similar) showing materials, finishes, and wearability from multiple angles. • Supply native CAD files plus export formats (STEP, IGES) for future prototyping. Acceptance Criteria • Full-scale digital model fits average adult facial dimensions (anthropometric refs can be shared). • Renderings demonstrate comfort features (soft-touch face seal, contoured straps) and a polished consumer aesthetic. • Design accommodates custom replaceable filters and could feasibly meet advanced respiratory performance standards in later engineering phases. Other Details • NDA must be signed before specifications are shared. • Potential for long-term collaboration if the concept proceeds to prototyping and certification.
