I need a lightweight iOS app that lets two to four teammates keep track of our workshop equipment without juggling spreadsheets. Everyone will share the same level of access, so there’s no need for role-based permissions this time. Core screens I’m after 1. Add / Edit Equipment – a form where we can create a new item or jump back in and update details such as name, type, serial number, status and purchase price. 2. Item Overview – a scrollable list showing every piece of equipment currently in the database, searchable and sortable for quick checks. 3. Purchase Log – a logbook that stores each purchase line-by-line, displays its individual cost and shows an auto-calculated grand total at the very top. Nice-to-have • A simple dashboard (charts or counters are fine) that visualises equipment categories, quantities and overall spend so we can spot trends at a glance. Tech notes • iOS native only; Swift / SwiftUI or UIKit is fine as long as it feels snappy on recent iPhone models. • Local Core Data or a lightweight cloud backend (e.g. Firebase) is acceptable—open to your suggestion. • The UI can stay clean and utilitarian; no heavy branding needed. Deliverables • Compiled iOS app ready for TestFlight. • Source code with basic README so we can extend it later. • Brief hand-off call or video walkthrough.
