Description: We are looking for a Python developer experienced in data automation and structured web data extraction for real estate research. Your task is to help us collect publicly available property information from Zillow and similar real estate sources in a compliant and efficient way. This role involves creating a data-gathering and parsing tool that organizes property details for analysis, reporting, and comparison purposes. Responsibilities: - Build a Python-based data automation tool to collect and structure publicly accessible Zillow data. - Parse, clean, and format the results (CSV, JSON, or database format). - Ensure the process respects robots.txt, site terms, and data-access best practices. - Set up parameters for searching/filtering listings (e.g., location, price range, property type). - Document the workflow and provide setup instructions. Requirements: - Proven experience in Python (BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Playwright, or Selenium). - Understanding of structured data extraction from dynamic websites. - Familiarity with proxies and automation throttling (for rate control and reliability). - Experience with data formatting and database integration. - Strong attention to detail and reliability. Preferred Skills: - Prior experience working with real estate datasets or APIs. - Familiarity with data cleaning and enrichment workflows. - Knowledge of cloud deployment (e.g., AWS Lambda, Cron jobs) is a plus.
