I have a Django-based content management system that needs an experienced developer who can pick up the codebase solo and push it forward without hand-holding. The engagement starts immediately and should run for roughly one to two months. Scope of work Your first objective is functions development for the CMS. That centres on adding “contract” modules, writing functions to process data, and building an efficient search across multiple models. Once those core pieces are stable, I may extend the roadmap to other enhancements—user authentication, AI tools integration etc —so adaptability will be appreciated. You will work closely with the existing developers working in same technology, blockchain, AI. There is enough ongoing work for the right candidate. Tech stack & workflow • Django (latest LTS), PostgreSQL, Celery, Redis • Git for version control, GitHub Actions for CI/CD • AWS for staging & production; Smart Contract knowledge will be preferable/bonus ● Web apps development experience in Python/Django ● Knowledge of HTTP and RESTful APIs ● Experience in Django Rest Framework ● Experience with JS frameworks/libraries like Angular.js ● Understand models, views, and templates ● Should be able to create APIs ● Work with front-end developers to integrate their CSS and JavaScript ● Datastores/tools like MongoDB ● Virtualization: AWS, VirtualBox, Docker. Acceptance criteria 1. New contract module fully integrated with existing CMS models and admin. 2. Data-processing functions return accurate results under load tests. 3. Search endpoint responds in <300 ms for a 100k-record dataset. 4. All new code covered by unit tests and merged via pull requests.
