I am developing a new physical product and need hands-on design support from the earliest idea right through to a test-ready prototype. At this point I am still refining the concept, so the scope may include sketch ideation, CAD modelling in SolidWorks or Fusion 360, and preparing files that can go straight to 3-D print or CNC for a proof-of-concept build. A strong portfolio that shows how you move from rough concept to manufacturable design will help me understand your approach. Good communication is essential because we will iterate together and the exact deliverables may evolve as the design takes shape. Proposed deliverables, as milestones: • Initial concept sketches with rationale • Detailed 3-D model (STEP or STL) ready for review • Finalised, manufacture-ready files plus a brief documentation pack If you can walk me through material selection, basic DFM considerations and simple tolerance studies, even better.
