Optimize Linux VPS Performance

My Linux-based VPS powers a handful of production websites and the load times could be sharper. I want the entire stack reviewed, tuned, and documented so the sites run faster, stay stable under peak traffic, and remain easy for me to maintain afterwards. Scope of work • Inspect current configuration (kernel, web server, PHP/HHVM or similar, database) and identify bottlenecks. • Apply performance-oriented settings: caching layers, compression, connection limits, swap usage, file descriptors—whatever proves relevant after your audit. • Harden security while you are in there, making sure any tweaks do not conflict with web-hosting duties. • Provide a concise report of changes plus before/after benchmarks so I can see the tangible gains. Acceptance criteria ✓ Page-load and TTFB metrics clearly improved in the benchmark report. ✓ All hosted sites continue to function with no broken dependencies. ✓ Every modification is commented or documented so I can reproduce it on future servers. To be considered, briefly highlight experience doing similar Linux web-hosting optimizations; no elaborate proposal is necessary—just proof you’ve solved these performance puzzles before.
