I already run Odoo (Community) with both Inventory and Manufacturing in production, yet day-to-day use is still cumbersome. I need an experienced Odoo developer to step into the existing database and fine-tune three critical areas—stock management, production planning, and bill of materials—without disrupting the rest of the system. Current pain points • Stock figures drift from physical counts; reorder rules and internal transfers need tightening. • Production plans do not reflect real capacity, so work orders and lead times slip. • Multi-level BoMs are incomplete, making cost and component forecasts unreliable. Scope of work • Audit the present configuration and custom code. • Propose and implement fixes or improvements (Python/ORM, XML views, Studio tweaks, automated actions). • Migrate all changes through staging to production, maintaining data integrity. • Walk me through the new workflows so I can support them internally. Acceptance criteria 1. On-hand quantities reconcile with a physical count exported from Odoo. 2. MRP work orders and procurement rules trigger automatically from confirmed sales orders. 3. BoMs show accurate cost roll-ups and component requirements. 4. No regression in existing sales or accounting modules. I will supply SSH and admin credentials to a staging clone as soon as we agree on the approach.
