Neo-Noir Detective Website Design

Customer: AI | Published: 02.10.2025

The goal is to launch a small, story-driven agency site that feels as if it was torn from the pages of a neo-noir graphic novel. Every screen should plunge visitors into a dark, moody palette, complete with cork-board crime-scene accents, cigarette-smoke gradients and classic typewriter typography. Client in distress looking for help. Scope of the build • Five core pages: Home, About Us, Security Consulting, Private Investigations, and Contact. • A concise “Agency Values” segment on the Home page, followed by an at-a-glance grid of services. • Neo-noir digital comic art illustrations of the detective in action. These appear on the Home, About Us, Private Investigations, a small Private Investigator spotlight section, and the Contact page. Scenes include him hunched over evidence, briefing a client in the office, and pinning clues on the wall. • Each service block carries a two-to-three sentence description beside its corresponding illustration. • A subtle interactive crime board motif that threads through the site without harming load times. Creative direction – Illustration style: high-contrast neo-noir digital comic art, refined rather than pulp; think muted spot colours, hard shadows and cinematic lighting. – Colour scheme: unapologetically dark and moody; deep charcoals, desaturated burgundies, cigarette-amber highlights. – Typography: classic slab-serif headers, typewriter-inspired body copy. – UX/UI: Responsive layout, quick page transitions, lightweight SVG or WebP for artwork. Deliverables 1. High-fidelity wireframes for approval. 2. Final UI mock-ups (Figma or Adobe XD). 3. Five illustrated panels in layered PSD/SVG. 4. Export-ready assets and style guide. 5. Build-ready HTML/CSS/JS or hand-off package for my developer. Acceptance criteria • Illustrations match the specified pages and style. • Text blocks and values section appear exactly as provided in the copy deck. • Visual performance scores 90+ on desktop and mobile Lighthouse tests. • All assets licensed for commercial use and transferred upon completion. Please keep communication open while concepts develop; a quick sketch preview for the detective scenes will help us lock the tone before full colouring begins.
