I’m adding a 1 900 sq ft first floor to my home in Nalgonda and need a designer who truly understands the local climate and materials. My top priority is the floor plan, and within that, nothing matters more than an efficient use of space. The layout I have in mind calls for a master bedroom with ensuite, a second bedroom, living-dining zone, kitchen, two to three baths, plus a balcony or utility area. Vastu is non-negotiable—especially a North-East entrance—and the plan must breathe well in our hot summers and sticky monsoons through good cross-ventilation and natural light. I’d also like a fresh, modern elevation that still feels at home in Nalgonda’s streetscape and keeps construction costs sensible by relying on locally available materials.
