I’m looking for an experienced iOS developer (preferably familiar with Apple’s background process limitations and automation frameworks) to create an app that can automatically forward all incoming SMS messages to one or more of the following destinations: Email address Telegram WhatsApp Slack Discord Microsoft Teams Another mobile number (via SMS Providers or API) Key Requirements: The app should capture all incoming SMS messages (including sender, message body, and timestamp). Messages must be forwarded automatically (or semi-automatically if iOS restrictions apply). User can configure which destinations to forward to (for example, only Email + Telegram). Should include simple UI settings: Enable/disable forwarding Select forwarding methods Add/edit destination credentials (e.g., email, Telegram bot token, webhook URL, etc.) Technical Notes: Because iOS limits access to SMS data for third-party apps, I am open to: Using Shortcuts automation, Notification Service Extension, or Apple Business APIs. Using an external lightweight relay server if needed (for example, to send SMS content via webhook). The app must comply with Apple’s App Store policies and be accepted for publication. Expected Deliverables: Fully functional iOS app (.ipa or Xcode project). Documentation on how to configure and publish the app. Source code with comments. Optional: Companion Android app (if the developer is capable of cross-platform delivery using Flutter or React Native). Ideal Candidate: Strong experience in Flutter for iOS Familiar with Apple Shortcuts, Background Tasks, Push Notifications, and API integration Experience working with Telegram/Slack/MS Teams Webhooks Creative in finding workarounds for iOS restrictions (without violating App Store rules)
