We are looking to implement a hotel-wide Wi-Fi solution using Ruckus access points and switches to ensure full property coverage and a seamless roaming experience for guests as they move throughout the hotel. Currently, guests experience Wi-Fi drops when walking around the property, which needs to be fully resolved. We are seeking a highly experienced network engineer with proven expertise in Ruckus wireless systems, hotel environments, and roaming optimization (fast handoff, proper AP placement, channel planning, and power tuning). Key requirements: Full Wi-Fi coverage across the entire property (guest rooms, hallways, common areas, and outdoor spaces as needed) Seamless roaming with no connection drops when guests move around the hotel Proper configuration of Ruckus APs and switches for hospitality use A custom captive portal / landing page that guests see upon connecting, displaying hotel policies before granting internet access Secure network configuration to prevent illegal activity, including blocking: Torrents and P2P traffic Illegal downloads and streaming Access to restricted or illegal websites Strong network security while maintaining an easy, user-friendly guest experience This project requires someone who understands both enterprise-grade networking and hotel guest Wi-Fi expectations. Experience in similar hotel deployments is required.
