We’re looking for an exceptional freelance LinkedIn Content Writer to help shape thoughtful, high-impact content in a specialist professional field. This role is not about churning posts. It’s about insight, clarity, and credibility. You’ll be responsible for researching niche, high-value topics, developing strong points of view, and using AI tools intelligently to produce first drafts that closely reflect an established personal tone, depth of thinking, and subject-matter expertise. All content is reviewed, refined, and approved in collaboration with the Director. If you care more about quality than volume and understand how to use AI as an assistant rather than a crutch, keep reading. What You’ll Do - Conduct deep research on high-impact, niche topics within an agreed professional domain - Identify themes that spark conversation, reflection, and saves rather than vanity engagement - Use AI tools to generate first drafts that closely mirror an established voice, substance, and thinking style - Write LinkedIn posts for two profiles: A personal profile focused on thought leadership, insight, and lived experience and a business profile aligned to the company’s services, positioning, and values - Ensure business content clearly supports strategic messaging without sounding sales-led - Thoughtfully cross-promote content between profiles where it adds value and context - Maintain a structured pipeline of ideas, drafts, approvals, and scheduled posts - Work closely with the Director to review, refine, and approve content before publishing You’ll be a strong fit if you: - Are an exceptional copywriter and storyteller, especially in professional or B2B contexts - Can write with nuance, restraint, and confidence without relying on buzzwords - Have proven experience writing LinkedIn content that feels human, thoughtful, and credible - Understand how to use AI models well (prompting, refining, sense-checking, and shaping output) - Can accurately replicate tone, rhythm, and depth once guided - Are organised, structured, and reliable with clear workflows - Are comfortable collaborating closely with a Director and iterating based on feedback - Care deeply about clarity, originality, and signal over noise This is not suitable for generic social media writers or volume-driven agencies. Expectations and Payments - Average of 5 posts a month - $50 per LinkedIn post published (additional $25 for cross-promotion on the business profile, when appropriate) In your bid, please include a short note on why this role appeals to you and examples of LinkedIn posts or long-form social content you’ve written We’re looking for someone who treats writing as craft, not output.
