Overview: We are seeking an experienced English Wikipedia editor with a proven track record of AfC (Articles for Creation) submissions, COI-compliant editing, and reviewer dialogue management. This project involves supporting the creation and publication of two English Wikipedia pages: 1) A private equity / investment firm (company page) 2) The firm’s founder (biographical page) This is a neutral, compliance-based knowledge governance project — not a marketing or promotional assignment. Scope of Work Phase 1 — Notability & Sourcing Assessment (~up to 25 hours cap) - Assess existing independent English-language media sources - Identify notability gaps for both pages -Compile source matrix & recommend sourcing strategy if needed - Draft neutral, citation-based article outlines for both pages Phase 2 — Drafting & Submission via AfC (~up to 60 hours cap across both pages) - Create sandbox drafts for both pages using Wikipedia Manual of Style - Disclose COI on user page (required) - Submit articles via AfC (Articles for Creation) - Respond to reviewer feedback and adjust drafts accordingly - Facilitate article move to mainspace once approved Phase 3 — Stabilization Period (Optional) (~up to 10 hours/month) - Monitor pages for tags or challenges - File talk-page defenses if needed - Perform small updates when new independent sources appear Required Qualifications. To be considered, you must have: - Demonstrable history of successful English Wikipedia AfC approvals - Experience working under COI disclosure (not blackhat) - Familiarity with: - WP:N (Notability) - WP:V (Verifiability) - WP:NPOV (Neutral Tone) - WP:COI (Conflict of Interest Policy) - WP:RS (Reliable Sources) - Ability to communicate professionally with reviewers on Talk pages - Strong research / source validation skills Nice-to-Have - Familiarity with finance, business, investment, or corporate biographies - Experience drafting neutral corporate history or executive profiles
