I’m building a dedicated Android application that lets utility customers handle every aspect of their electricity bill on-the-go. The core flow is straightforward: users log in, see the current amount due, tap to pay, and instantly receive confirmation. Alongside that, the app should nudge them with timely payment reminders and offer a history screen that charts past usage and spend so they can spot trends. Key deliverables • Fully native Android app (Java or Kotlin) targeting Android 7.0+ • Secure payment integration for Credit/Debit cards and direct Bank transfer (no mobile wallet for now, but the architecture should make adding one simple later) • Modular screens: – Bill viewing with up-to-date amount due pulled from our REST endpoint – Single-step payment checkout with tokenised card handling – Push or local notifications for upcoming-due reminders – Usage history & basic analytics (line or bar graph is fine) • Clean Material Design UI, light & dark modes • Source code, build instructions and a brief README for hand-off Acceptance criteria 1. A signed APK installs and runs without crashes on our test devices. 2. All listed features work end-to-end using our staging API keys. 3. Payments process successfully and return a success or failure state we can verify in logs. 4. Code passes a quick review for structure, naming and inline documentation. I’ll provide API documentation, sample JSON payloads, logo assets and brand colours at kickoff.
