The end product must run smoothly on both web browsers and modern iOS/Android devices, sharing a single code-base wherever practical so that feature parity stays tight and future maintenance remains affordable. Core objectives • Build a secure, multi-tenant SaaS that lets merchants create their own storefronts, manage inventory, and process sales without touching code. • Develop responsive web views and native-feeling mobile screens that draw from the same REST/GraphQL back-end. • Implement role-based admin panels for merchants and their staff, plus a simple onboarding flow for trial users. • Set up CI/CD so updates can be rolled out with minimal downtime. Technical leeway I’m comfortable with mainstream stacks—React / Next.js, Vue / Nuxt, or similar on the front end, and Node, Django, or Laravel on the back end—so long as the choices are justified and keep total cost of ownership low. Cloud deployment should target AWS or GCP using containers or serverless functions; advise me on the trade-offs. For data, a managed SQL store is fine, but I’m open to NoSQL for catalog speed if you explain the benefit. Payment & integrations Stripe will handle payments at launch, with hooks left open for PayPal and local gateways later. I’ll also need basic webhooks so merchants can connect to shipping providers or marketing tools. Milestones & deliverables 1. Solution architecture doc and sprint plan. 2.
