I’m looking for a lean, working script that can watch two independent RTSP streams at the same time, pick out every license plate it sees, and drop each plate into my MySQL table with a timestamp and a note of which camera (Stream 1 or Stream 2) caught it. I prefer a PHP or JavaScript (Node.js) solution, but if another language will get the job done faster and still be easy for me to maintain, I’m open to hear it.
