I need a straightforward mobile application that runs smoothly on both iOS and Android devices. Its sole purpose is to let field staff enter short text notes while the phone automatically tags each entry with the current GPS coordinates. No signup or authentication screens are required; the moment the app opens, the user should be able to start recording. Core workflow • Launch → simple form with a text field and a “Save” button. • When the user taps Save, the app grabs the latitude/longitude in the background and stores the record locally. • A basic list or history view must display previously saved entries (text + date/time + coordinates) for quick reference. Export & sync At the end of each workday, staff will need to email or otherwise export the collected data as a CSV or JSON file. I’m open to the simplest method you recommend, as long as the file can be shared from the device. Technical notes • Native builds with Swift / Kotlin, React Native, or Flutter are all acceptable—use whichever lets you deliver quickly and reliably on both platforms. • The app will be used in areas with limited connectivity, so it must work fully offline and queue exports until a connection is available. • Clean, well-commented code and brief setup instructions are part of the hand-off. Acceptance criteria 1. Installable test builds for iOS and Android. 2. Accurate capture of text + GPS in under two seconds on modern devices. 3. Data export produces a valid CSV or JSON file that matches the in-app records. 4. Source code and build steps delivered through a shared repo. If you can meet these points and keep the interface minimal, you’re exactly who I’m looking for.
